6. Comprehensive Design (DT Course Project)#
Shanghaitech-AR Smart Parking Lot
This is a system designed to solve problems such as not being able to find a car in an underground parking lot, getting lost easily, and the monotonous terrain. It uses a gamified approach to design. The core idea is to use underground graffiti to create a new landmark system for the underground garage and use AR technology to make the graffiti interactive. At the same time, it can locate and mark one's own position through an electronic map.
The project was made by a group and lasted for four weeks. It went through the complete design process, including user research, brainstorming, prototype production, user testing, integration and modification of solutions, final prototype production, and demo production. I collaborated with group members and participated in almost all stages.
